What is the menu style?
Roma offers a Modern Italian cuisine with a range of menu items all designed to share. From snacks and small plates, to pastas, meats and vegetables. Drop in for a quick bite or settle in for a long lunch.
The Deli offers delicious takeaway salads, Roman pizza, cheese plates and a range of house made sweets designed to enjoy in the piazza.

What are the open hours?
Monday - Friday: 8am to late
Saturday: 11am until late

Where is Roma located?
Roma Adelaide is located at 11 Waymouth St Adelaide, South Australia.
The Restaurant and Piazza are located at the rear of the ANZ building between Waymouth St and Franklin St.
Access is available off Waymouth St via Arbor Lane, Franklin St via Exchange Lane, or King William St.
Do you take Group Bookings?
Yes, we certainly accommodate large groups.
During dinner service, bookings of seven or more guests are required to enjoy our $69 Feed Me menu.
During lunch service, bookings of 10 or more guests are required to enjoy our $69 Feed Me menu.
To make a booking for more than 10 guests please Send Us a Message & we will respond as soon as possible.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on our ability to manage dietary requirements such as allergies, intolerances, coeliac disease and personal and religious preference dietary requirements. Our staff have completed Dietary Hawk dietary requirement management, awareness and safety training and are here to help ensure all our guests have a pleasant experience. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
Should I make a table reservation?
We strongly recommend that guests book ahead of time to secure a table in the restaurant.
For the Piazza, no reservation is required. Come in and enjoy!
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made on our website via OpenTable or call us on (08) 7008 0222.
Reservations for the Piazza are not required.
For larger group bookings please email hello@romaadelaide.com.au or fill out your information on our Contact page & our team will contact you within 24hrs.
Please note that we may not be able to answer the phone during service times, so please leave your contact details and we will return your call as soon as possible.
How do I change or cancel an existing reservation?
Modifications to online bookings can be made 48 hours prior to your reservation. To modify a reservation within 48 hours of your booking time you are required to contact us directly via phone on 08 7008 0222.
I’ve tried booking online, but there are no spots available?
This could mean that the restaurant is fully booked at this time, however there may be a spot at another time during the night. Please call the restaurant on 7008 0222 & we may be able to accommodate you.
Do you require a deposit for restaurant bookings?
For reservations under 11 guests we do not not require a deposit.
However, we do require credit card details to secure all reservations.
A cancellation fee of $30 per person will apply when:
- A reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours before the reservation time; or
- A guest fails to attend their reservation without notifying the restaurant.
For restaurant reservations of 11 or more guests, we require a non-refundable $30 deposit per person.
The cancellation fee reflects the time spent preparing food and staff costs associated with your reservation and the lost opportunity to have other guests dine at our restaurant.
Cancellation fees are processed via OpenTable. Notification of this charge will be sent via an email receipt from Open Table and Stripe.
Do I have to do a Feed Me menu in the Restaurant?
Roma offers an a la carte menu and a Feed Me menu.
Dinner Service: Tables of seven or more guests are required to enjoy our feed me menu.
Lunch Service: Tables of 10 or more guests are required to enjoy our feed me menu.
Do you do private events/ functions?
Yes, we would love to be part of your event.

Do you do BYO?
We have a wide selection of beverages at our restaurant and we are confident that we have something for everybody and every occasion.
While we spend many hours curating and refining our beverage list we appreciate that sometimes there may be a specific reason that you might want to enjoy a special bottle. Accordingly, we allow guests to bring one bottle per six guests at a fee of $40 per bottle (standard 750ml bottles only).
Is Roma wheelchair accessible?
Roma has wide, step free entrances to the Restaurant and wheelchair access to enter the Piazza is available.
Can I bring in a cake? Is there a fee?
Guests are welcome to bring cake, although there is a cakeage fee of $5 per person. We will provide plates and cutlery.
Is there a quieter spot to sit?
While we strive to ensure Roma is a comfortable dining space for all, the volume inside does vary depending on the day and therefore we can unfortunately not guarantee a quieter seating location. If you require a quiet spot when you dine at Roma, please let our team know when booking and we will do our very best to meet your request.
Do you have a cancellation/refund policy for special events?
CANCELLATION POLICY — TICKETED SPECIAL EVENTS
Roma does not offer refunds or credit notes for:
- ‘change of mind’ reasons or non-attendances due to illness or injury;
- if a person does not attend an Event or Service;
- if a person fails to meet these Terms and Conditions and Roma’s Policies.
2 weeks or less notice:
No refunds, transfers or credit notes. You are welcome to send someone in your place to attend a Roma event or service — please simply email us their name, contact number and any dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate them.
More than 2 weeks notice:
No refunds. We are happy to issue you with a credit note which you can use to enrol into a future special event or service or use on a later date.
Cancellations using gift vouchers:
If you cancel an event or service which you have booked through redemption of a gift voucher, the same cancellation terms as above will apply, and your credit note will take the form of a re-issued gift voucher with the original expiration date. If you cancel a booking using a gift voucher 2 weeks or less prior to an event or service, or your gift voucher expires before the date of your event or service, your voucher will not be re-issued.
Australian Consumer Law:
We comply with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent that any of the refund/return/replacement rights stated on our website are inconsistent with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (found at Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) your statutory rights will prevail.
Does Roma accept Amex?
Yes, however there is a surcharge of 2.2% for any Amex transaction.
Are you open on public holidays?
We are open on most public holidays. Please keep an eye on our social media channels for updates about specific public holidays closer to the date.
Please note on those days a 15% surcharge will apply.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
We do sell gift vouchers.
Gift vouchers are valid for three years from the time of purchase, can be made out to any value and are valid at Roma Restaurant / Piazza or Deli.

All existing eleven gift vouchers can be redeemed at our new restaurant Roma.
I have an eleven gift voucher. Can I still use it?
Yes, all existing eleven gift vouchers are available to be redeemed at our new venue - Roma. The venue is owned by the same owners.
Open for all day dining from 11.30am, Monday – Saturday.

How do I use my gift voucher?
Gift vouchers must be presented on arrival (printed or via smart phone) and must be mentioned to staff when booking via phone or noted within online bookings.
Vouchers may be used for more than one transaction. We do not offer refunds for gift vouchers. Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
Do you have a children’s menu?
While we don’t offer a children’s menu, we do encourage our younger diners to pick their favourites off of our a la carte menu, or join in with the Feed Me menu option.
